We at Word of Abundant Life Christian Center believe that our young people are a vital part of the church today and the leaders of the church of tomorrow. We believe it is never too early to start building a relationship with Jesus Christ.

To teach the principles of the Word of God so that children will trust Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, thereby experiencing a positive faith-based lifestyle.

POWERHOUSE WEEKLY SCHEDULE:
The "BRIDGE" Service Schedule:
The BRIDGE is a high energy, fast-paced service for children ages 2-18. Taking place each Sunday at 11:00am to approximately 11:45am in the Children’s Fellowship Hall, the BRIDGE is designed to cater to children and youth. In this service our youth worship ministry leads us into the presence of the Lord.
The goal is to teach our children how and why we worship the way we do and to prepare them for the transition to the adult sanctuary worship service. It’s amazing when kids of all ages are able to worship God on their own level. We provide an opportunity for that to happen each Sunday. Afterwards, the children divide up according to age appropriateness for Christian study.
Children's Classroom Offered (Ages 2-11yrs):
Skilled teachers will lead the children to their room where they will be taught a Bible lesson. Each class is separated according to age appropriateness for Christian study (2-3yrs, 4-5yrs, 6-7yrs, 8-9yrs and 10-11yrs). Curriculums are developed for teachers to teach the same lesson at the kid’s age level. Kids have the opportunity to participate in leading prayer, answering questions pertaining to lessons, learning memory verses, and learning by various fun activities. Depending on the age group snacks are also provided.
Kids are challenged to really see how God makes a difference in their lives, how they can live a life according to His Word and through His Son. We believe that our children will be a witness for Jesus Christ in their family, neighborhood and community.
Kids have the opportunity to become a POWERHOUSE KID for the month. The criteria’s for POWERHOUSE KIDS are: 1. Participation in “Bridge” Service and Classroom, 2. Behavior in “Bridge” Service and Classroom, 3. Attendance in Children’s Ministry.
At the end of the year (December) Kids have an annual “Bible Bowl” Challenge for all apposite age groups. A Bible Bowl is a fun way to get the kids to dig into the Bible, learning facts, memorizing scriptures and learning how to find what they’re looking for when they open their Bibles.

It is our prayer that God will enable parents to provide a loving Christian home for their children and that He will give us the wisdom to compliment their efforts with a loving Bible-based children's ministry.
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. Psalms 92:13
Promise Room (Nursery) Availability:
The Promise Room (nursery) is available for parents during both adult worship services (9am and 11am).
